Know that although in the eternal scheme of things you are small, you are also unique and irreplaceable, as are all your fellow humans everywhere in the world.
- Margaret Laurence -

I would just like to say thank you to all of you, my blogger friends, for your kind words and advice regarding my anger toward my neighbour's cat in Sunday's post. I am now armed with a squirter bottle, and a Super Soaker water pistol ... I'll get that darned cat, if it's the last thing I do !!

I must apologise for having turned on my Word Verification again ... I know it is a pain, I hate it too ... but some moron keeps spamming me (it seems to be always the same person), a number of times each day. I am so over having to delete his/her posts ... so for the time being, we are stuck with the Word Verification. Oh well, things could be worse, I s'pose !!

The Commonwealth Games finished last night, with a spectacular closing ceremony. I don't know, however, if anyone other than Aussies (Melbournians, in particular) would have "got" a lot of what was going on and was displayed ... it was so Melbourne !! The Indian part of the presentation was amazing, and the next Games in Delhi in 2010 should be extra special. The Aussie team came up trumps in the medal department (to be expected, I guess, as they had the most athletes !!). It was a great 11 days, with heaps of wonderful sporting achievements. I think each and every athlete in every country that participated deserves a medal for all their hard work and effort.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week. Catch up again soon.

Take care,

MEOW

May they don't have anything to feed their cat. (LoL).
The cat on your blog looks pretty. I love it.

I don't understand why people have pets if they are going to keep them outside. Maybe to catch the mice?

Your cat is very cute!

Our cats are indoor/outdoor but mostly indoor.

Don't worry about WV. What would like be without something to gripe about.

zdbjyznh to you and yours.

I guess I've been lucky with spam with only one so far that I know of but it sounds like if one "finds" you they stay connected. I understand the word verification stops automated spam writers but are they all automated?

My neighbors visited Australia last Aug/Sep and were telling me there is a real shortage of mochas there. Also I guess what we call a latte you would call a flat white. Has the mocha shortage improved yet? As a chocolate lover you might like them.

And an oehqqyk back to you!

I hope you have a good week too.
I know what you mean about word verification. It just seems that these spammers have a radar for the blogs that don't have one.

I hope the super soaker works on Max. Sounds like he is trying his hand at mating your Bambi. Is she fixed?
You're right, some people should not have pets.

I watched the closing ceremony to the Commonwealth Games and you are right .. I didn't get half of what they were doing. I did like John Farnham at the end as I totally remember his song "You're the Voice".

He was the only singer I really knew on there apart from The Bodyrockers as that song came out over here. I really enjoyed the Indian display too ... really colourful :).

Smitten Kitten ... thank you.

Friday's Child ... I agree LOL. Thank you, I think it is cute, too.

Madi ... thank you, it is fun fiddling with the template ... there is nothing fancy here, just fun !!

Jenn ... I agree. Bambi spends quite a few hours outside, but spends her nights inside. She gets lots of love and cuddles and attention.

Granny ... thank you

Dick ... you are lucky not to have been hit by spam ... it is a real pain. Don't really know about the mocha thing ... will look into it for you !!

DaybyDay ... oh, I am sorry ... I wonder if it is the music thingy that has caused it. Please let me know if it continues ... I will probably get rid of the music.

Laura ... thank you, I needed that.

Angel ... yep, that radar was on me (and I think Susie copped the same one). Evil people, those spammers.

Lois ... yes, Bambi is fixed ... gosh, I wouldn't have a cat that wasn't !! Thanks you.

Clare ... sorry about the total Melbourne thing. Don't know what the organisers were thinking !!! Glad you enjoyed John Farnham ... I love him, he is wonderful.

Thanks everyone, hope you all have a great day. Take care, Meow

Don't worry about the word verification. I love it, it's my biggest challenge of the day. Hey, when you're sitting on a computer all day without having to get up, you need some kind of challenge, right? :)

Cinthia ... thanks for being understanding. I find word verification annoying, but it obviously is something that needs to be used. The spam was even more annoying !!
Have a great day, take care, Meow

The word verification does not bother me, sometimes I try and make a word out of the letters :)

If Max bothers Bambi again, just tell him that when my big 'ol feathered baby is all well, he will fly over there, swoop down on Max, and fly him awayyyyyyyyyyy *giggle*

Feathers ... yeah, sometimes those letter combinations can be really amusing !!
Ooooh, please send your birdie this way ... I could imagine him flying that pesky cat away. Thanks for the thought !! Hope he is getting better, by the way.
Take care, Meow
