A Tree Grows In Mossman

I thought I would share a photo of a most beautiful tree we discovered whilst driving through Mossman in Queensland a few months ago. I just fell in love with it. It was almost creepy looking, from close up, with it's furry-looking branches. Please enjoy.

That's amazing. I just loved that one and another nearby with long dangly bits hanging off it. Mossman is a lovely town. Do I take it you live near Mossman, somewhere ?

I think so too. Unfortunately, the photo doesn't do it justice. Wish I was there, again.

Thank you susubala. I'm only new at this, and am experimenting and learning as I go. Please come back again. Take care.

Cathy, I have no idea of the species ... maybe Michelle would know. I am from southern Australia, that tree is way up north !
