CATS ON TUESDAY # 2

Hmmmm, what to write about for my 2nd Cats On Tuesday !!!!

I might just quickly share a photo, as I need to do some other things, and want to make it quick this week ... sorry !!

We have a tree stump, probably about my shoulder height, which Bambi just loves to sit on. Here she is, in a contemplative pose ... she is a very photogenic kitty !!

You know, I think Bambi is a very odd kitty. Over the weekend, we had 40C plus (100F plus) temperatures, it was also very smokey (due to the massive bushfires raging throughout Victoria). We happily chose to stay inside, with the air-conditioning, where it was wonderfully comfortable. You'd think a cat, who is wearing a fur coat, would also enjoy it inside. But, nooooo, she would rather be out in the revolting, stinky heat. Go figure !!!

Anyway, as I said, this is just a quick "Cats On Tuesday" this week. I will try to put more thought into it next week.

Take care,

MEOW

But that's a great post ! You don't have to write a mile long oncen, lol ! Your kitty really poses like a filmstar. And it's so interesting to know the weather in other countries. When I think that we here in Belgium are sitting in the rain and cold while you have 40° and complain, that's not right ! Send a little from the heat over. Kim our black cat is ALWAYS out, even when we have 35° which doesn't happen every year, but did this year. On my weatherpixie you can see the temperature in Brussels. I like this thing it shows me every morning the temperature outside !

You forgot to put your link in my "Mr. Linky" so that people can find you as this is the "start". I even asked for a "special" meme Mr. Linky as you can see !

Our Miss Clover loved to bake in the light and heat in our garage in Mississippi. There it would be in the 90's all summer long. She still loves the heat more than any of the others.

She is very photogenic! :) What a beautiful cat. :)

Cats do seem to love heat - even the ones with lots of fur!

Connie,

It's great to see that you are in the christmas spirit of cheer and good will.

I am so behind on everything including writing of cards and christmas shopping. Time for me to git up and go do it. LOL

Enjoy your Tuesday!

She is quite the star diva. :)

What a sweet Kitty...! Thanks for your visit and "SWeetie" says Hi!
Those High temps seem to not bother cats too much...I wish I could ay the same, though I'd rather have it warm than cold.

If you need cat stories, I have ‘em. Alex, the cat who owns me, provides me with half dozen or so new stories each day.

Great cat! She was probably in the mood to hunt, smoke is good cover.

Brian & I have 3, I shall have to post about them again soon. Quite the trio! They make me laugh! D :)

Gattina ... thank you. Cats are funny critters when it comes to weather, aren't they.

SRP ... I guess their fur is like insulation, trapping a layer of air, keeping them cool (Perhaps!!).

Caylynn ... thank you.

Enid ... thank you. I'm excited that I am on track again, finally.

Helen ... thank you. Bambi has spots, too ... quite an unusual kitty !!

Jeanette ... thank you. The smoke is terrible ... Tuesday was blue skies and clear, today is horrible and smokey and stinky again.

Viamarie ... thank you. I think she looks regal, too.

Brian ... thank you.

Oldladyofthehills ... thank you, and please say hi to Sweetie from me and Bambi, too !!

Devil Mood ... thank you.

Nick ... thanks. I have heaps of stories, just didn't have time to write them yesterday. But, I might ask you for some sooner or later !!

Felinefrisky ... thanks. She is always in the mood to hunt, unfortunately !!

Take care all ... Meow

Hi Connie ~ I am sorry you have been unable to comment on beta bloggers.
At least you can be anonymous or maybe other. Your cat is cute. Many years
ago we had a cat that sat on a huge
gate post and wait for us to come home
from school. We lived in Pinnacle Lane, Dixons Creek when Peter and I were little kids. That cat moved to Melbourne and then Benalla and back to Melb. He lived 14 years, and was a similar colour to your Bambi, but with a white chest. Take care, Love, Merle.

Hi again Connie ~~ It took ages to post the last comment. Do you have the option of "other" or "anonymous"?
It is annoying, but may be only temporary as both Tammy and Jeanette
have commented under anonymous.
Take care my friend, Love, Merle.

Hi Merle, thanks for the advice. I have gone back and posted as anonymous on various blogs where I couldn't before. Didn't work on those who won't accept anonymous bloggers though !!
Your cat sounds like it was a cutie.
Hope you are well.
Take care, Meow
