I am a mega cat-lover. I have spent time in my past-life writing poetry, so that is something I wish to get back into. I am an obsessive reader, who usually has a few books on the go. I have also become obsessed with Scrapbooking ... another thing I can do with all the photos I take ... and recently, I have also become obsessed with Quilting !! Blogging is a much-loved passion ... it is so much fun !!! Facebook seems to be taking up too much of my time these days, too !!

More blood test, more taking the dad grocery shopping, bathing suit hunting for my daughter and a trip to my mothers on Sunday for dinner and cards.
Our weekend is already filling up so fast with errands we have to accomplish. I sure hope we can go to the Orchid Show here and I can take some nice pictures for my blog.

Your weather and ours are almost the same here. We are really getting hot temperatures now-a-days. No rain. Sun is up as early as 6:00 a.m. and brightly shining.

My Bloglines is still not showing when you post new blogs, Connie. I'm going to try changing to another feed to see if that helps. I'm sorry I've been absent from commenting, but I didn't know you had posted anything new.
My weekend? As far as I know, nothing out of the ordinary. Church and Sunday Dinner on Sunday, and not much of anything on Saturday.
Hope it cools off for you. It's warming up here, but we still more cold weather before true Spring gets here. And storms are predicted for Saturday, with possible tornadoes. Yay.

Hi Meow, in hot AND humid Melbourne, we in SE Qld. have had a very mild summer, had a few very hot days at the end of spring and a FEW summer ones I suppose but nothing like it can be.
Hello sugar plum, Thankyou for the weekend wishes.. I wish you the same. I am cleaning the house this weekend. Not normal cleaning.... but CLEANING. You know, when stuff gets chucked out!

I have good news for you ! Just saw in Euronews that the temperature for Melbourne will be 23° tomorrow ! So probably you will get a little thunderstorm. I did the cat scan, but nothing was found, lol ! Enjoy your Sommerfest ! I would like to join !

Hi Meow, take heart we had the same thing happening here re storms that built up and blew away to other regions. Finally we have been having some regular rain throughout Queensland. Not sure about the status of Brisbane dams as yet as i have not been catching that much news of late. Have a good weekend I am having some special visitors from Brissie tomorrow which will be great.
