Didyahaveagoodweekend ??
Another weekend is over, hope yours was a good one.
We went to a 50th birthday party on Saturday afternoon / night. It was a great party, caught up with some good friends, and had a nice time. It got mighty cold in the evening (that was really unusual!), and most of us weren't dressed for it (as it has been quite some time since it had been cool !!), but otherwise it was a wonderful night.
Sunday, Chicky and I went to the German Club for their Sommerfest. Had lunch ... traditional German stuff ... yummy !! Caught up with some family and friends, then headed home again. Hubby did an overtime shift Sunday night, so Chicky and I had pizza for tea ... yummy again !!
Overall, a great weekend, full of friends, family, food and fun !!
Change of subject ....
Has anyone noticed that Blogrolling and Bloglines don't seem to be updating as much as they should. Wonder if this has anything to do with the change-over to the New Blogger !! Is there something in our blog set-up that we should be changing, to ensure that our blogs show as being updated by these systems ?? I know there is a spot in the settings that mentiongs "pinging", and I have checked that it is on the correct setting (I hope). My Blogroll hasn't shown ANY updates for most of this year !! Is it just me, or is everyone having these problems ?!?! Just wondering !!!

Sounds like you had another good weekend :).
I am not sure what blogrolling and bloglines are. I just write on my blog and am not really sure of any technical terms for stuff.

I don't know about blogrolling and bloglines. I tried but could not figure any of it out. I am on the old fashioned, type URL and name into my sidebar, check and make sure it takes me where I want to go, and then clap when I get it right. To see if you posted I click the sidebar link I created, click, check, nope, click, check, nope, click, check, nope, click, check wooooooooohooooooooo!, click, check, nope, click, check, Yay!.....you get the picture..lol

I was doing something with my template a few weeks ago and lost links. I tried to find all the people I had there. I still don't think I have them all back.
You had a fun-filled weekend just like I did. Glad we are that blessed to have family and friends around us all the time.

I had a quiet weekend...went out and about up here on the mountain where I live and took a few pics, which I've posted in my blog...other than that...I spent my time reading...and transfer pics from camera to computer!

I have had some trouble with blogger since I have changed over , and the counter when I changed over went to nil as who ever read my blog and then nothing would come up when I tried to post , I guess it has lots of bugs in it yet , better my BUTT! LOL
Hope you and Yours are well and Chicky is having lots of fun in School , High school that is LOL

I had a great weekend too, Meow, which is the title of my latest post.
As for blogrolls, I just set up Google Reader, which does the same thing, and I'm very happy with its performance and updating. Maybe it's because it's part of the Google empire like Blogger is?
The weekend just finished here approx. an hour ago as sunday rolled into Monday. And yes, I am still up blogging and watching the Academy Awards show which seems to have aired an hour later than usual down here in the tropics.
Glad to hear that all is well with you and yours. On the subject of bloglines, I am clueless as I don't have this feature installed as yet. Something I will look into for the future.

Hi Meow:-) It does sound like you had a really great weekend...lots of good food too! hehe My bloglines seems to be working fine...right now it's letting me know that I have 43 posts to read...yikes! lol Have you tried deleting the program and then reinstalling it? You should be getting updates all the time. xox

Hi Meow, as Pea said there doesn't seem to be any problems with bloglines at present, there was about a month ago, make sure you have a current feed for all your contacts, there is often a selection to choose from, and it should work.
