Ooooh, More Postcards ...

It was exciting checking my mail yesterday ... there were 5 postcards from my dear blogging friends.

The first one is from Feathers, and shows a beautiful night shot of Chicago. She said she tried to affix herself to the postcard, but it didn't work !!! That is so sweet, Feathers :)

The next one is from Nikki (Connie's niece), and is from Texas. It shows a variety of things, and is wonderful.

The next is another one from Dick & Huggy, and it shows all the beautiful tulips at Tulip Town. My goodness, they are so beautiful.

Here is one from Connie, from St Louis. It has a lovely cut-out heart (gosh, the postal system is rough on postcards ... unfortunately this one arrived a bit torn ... but beautiful none-the-less), and an amazing night time view ... what a gorgeous city.

Last but not least, one from Friday's Child, all the way from the Philippines. The views on the card look just amazing. It is of the Banaue Rice Terraces overlooking Batad Village, and is considered the eighth wonder of the world.

Thank you, dear friends ... this is really interesting, receiving so many beautiful cards. Thank you for taking the time to pick out such lovely ones.

Hope your week is going well.

Take care,

MEOW

Postcards are fun. I started a collection because Neurotic Miss from Letters To The Universe (don't know how to link her on comments) sent me one.
I'm going to send you one, just as soon as we exchange info.

I don't believe I've got your mailing address, Meow, or do I? Would you mind sending it to me (again)?

Thanks!

Hi Meow! Sorry, sorry I haven't been by for so long, as you gathered from my Blog things have been on top of me a little lately.

But I'm here now and ready for action. I'll be back checking your posts to catch up but just wanted to let you know that I'm back (both Blogging and commenting) and am carrying on as normal.

Love the postcards. My favourite one is the one with the flowers.

I adore flowers. Prefer trees though, weird as that is.

See you again soon xxx

Very cool postcards! How fun to go to the mail box with anticipation each day!!

My daugher has three pen pals from around the world. We all get excited when she receives a new letter.

I've been up to the top of the St. Louis Arch. It was really fun and kind of scary too. There are windows at the top, and you look out of them. It feels very weird up there.

Wow, you are getting quite a collection there. That Phillipines one is something I've never seen before. Very cool.

Hi Meow, re your comment about having your browser sidebar visible,I nearly always do, but with the 17" screen that's never a problem.
On the old laptop quite a few blogs needed all the space available to stop things like sidebars going to the bottom of the page happening.
Really strange, on firefox I have.
"Your Comments Are Most Welcome" spread over two lines, when viewed with IE it reverts back to a single line, it just doesn't read the change to html code that tells it to change.
So you were probably right when you said it was browser related that someone was having trouble viewing your photos, I think I may have already said that I find firefox far better than IE.

Jenn ... thank you ... yep, the Philippines one is really beautiful. I think I would like that as a big picture on my wall, or desktop !! Or any of the others, too, for that matter.

Peter ... don't know if I was any help, but all looks OK now.

Michelle ... cute comment, wasn't it !! Feathers is a sweetie. And I think all the cards are gorgeous.

Nick ... thank you, and you are welcome ... hope you get to do those travels soon !! Can I join you ?

Nicole ... I am having a ball !! Thanks for being a part of it !

Take care everyone, have a great day ... Meow

I'm glad to see that mine got there. I sometimes find the PO doesn't seem to place as much importance on postcards as they do on letter mail and they seem to occasionally never arrive. I may send others as time goes on & I find something unique. I also may try making one of my own from my photos.

let me know if you would like me to send you a postcard from Canada, and how i would go about doing that

cheers from Beautiful British Columbia,

Dick ... let me know how you go with making your own ... I'd like to do that, too. Thank you so much for sending the cards, they are wonderful. Give Huggy a smooch for me, please.

Dragonflyfilly ... I would love a postcard from you, if you want to send one ... just email me your address, and I will email you back with mine. Thank you.

Take care, friends ... Meow
