A Day In The Life Of Meow ...

A normal day for Meow can be
As varied as you like.
I may just stay at home and read
Or I may go for a ride on my bike !

Today was a rather busy day,
I had a few things to get done.
First I dropped Chicky off at school
Then took the car for a run ...

Off to the local supermarket
To do the weekly food shop
Then home to pack it all away,
When once again I was on the hop !!

Off to help a friend of mine
With some computer stuff.
Then home to do some typing ...
I don't think the day'll be long enough !!

Right now I'm sitting in the car,
Waiting outside Chicky's school.
The wind is rocking my car about;
Outside it is very cool.

After school I'll do some more typing,
Then think about making a meal.
I'll hopefully do some blogging later ...
Wait and see how I feel !!

I need to sit and think about
Designing an amazing Web Site,
To put my new found skills to test ...
It needs to be just right.

I also need to do some housework,
The washing is piling up high.
I need to dust the furniture,
And vaccuum too ... my, oh my !!

I guess tomorrow's another day ...
But I have a few more things I need to do
Before I get around to the cleaning.
Oh well, no housework tomorrow ... whoop-de-doo !!

I admire anyone who can see straight through their housework LOL. Having my office at home the temptation to clean is always there. Plus, i am pretty obsessive compulsive about tidyness, urrrgghh it makes it difficult.

Is there no end to your talent?

Michelle ... I was really obsessive about my housework when I was working "outside", and it would be sparkling clean constantly. Since being home, and working from home, I have decided there is more to life than housework. That's not to say I don't do it, as my house is always clean and tidy. I still do it all, just not as often.
Have a great evening, and Friday. Take care, Meow

...Well I have. My finges are beginning to cramp.

But I'm still smiling on the inside missy, so don't think you've won, because you haven't.

Megz Mum ... hope the weather begins to cool down soon. We are in the grip of a cold spell ... brrrr.

Alice ... :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
You are mad (in the nicest possible way !!!)

Take care, Meow

"You are mad (in the nicest possible way !!!)"

People have often said so.
Although not the last part.

Well, I did it. I did a poem about my day. I warn you in advance though, it's crap.

...Really, I'm not putting myself down or fishing for compliments, it really is - crap.

:-)

That was a nice way to post your days activities. I got new tires for my "new" used car that I am driving home yesterday. It rides smoother & should be safer. I'll leave Sacramento, California this morning & drive to Eugene, Oregon, a distance of about 400 miles, but the sun is shining here today for the first time since I arrived last Sunday. Yes, it does rain in California!

That was cute. House work never ends.

Meow,
I write about my daily activities, but rarely in poems! As I type this, it is 1:20 pm on Thursday, and it is 72 degrees and VERY WINDY. We are looking for high winds, hail and tornadoes from now through Friday evening. There was a lot of damage and even some deaths due to tornadoes very close to us Sunday. We have been very blessed so far in that it's missed us.
Enjoy your Autumn as we "enjoy" our Spring weather. :)

Ms. Meow--

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving your kind comment. Actually, I like your dancing kitty a lot, as well as the Tom Jones theme song on your blog. I sometimes get a little sarcastic on commebnts just to get a response from people, which I did with you. Thanks to that, I've made a new friends all the way across the world in Australia.

Thanks again, and I will return regularly to see what the dancing cat is up to!

What a wonderful way to share your day! And, I must say that I had a fabulous you experience today, as it was the first time I saw your blog in Explorer. I was entranced by your dancing kitty, which is just so mellow and, if I may say so, groovy (not a word I normally use, but it seems to fit here). On Safari, it is way sped up, and a bit dizzying.

Alice ... I'm looking forward to reading your poem ... I'll be over soon. (Hey, don't worry, my poems aren't real good, either ... but they are fun to do !!)

Dick ... thank you. Hope the new tires make a difference. Drive safely. Give Huggy a cuddle for me.

Anne ... thank you, and ... no, it doesn't ever end.

Diane ... hope that you are spared from the tornados ... stay safe, and take care.

Chloe ... thank you, you are sweet.

Muley ... welcome to the weird world of Meow. I wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic or not, which was why I left you a comment. Thanks for the compliments, and I'll be back to visit, too.

Kimananda ... thank you. I didn't realise the kitty dances at different speeds on different browsers ... she is quite mellow on mine !!

LZ Blogger ... thank you.

Hope everyone has a great day. Take care all, Meow

Cute poem. Housework will always be there when you have time for it. I love the feeling of a freshly cleaned house, but having a comfy home for my family is what is most important.

Jamie ... I agree, a freshly cleaned house is wonderful ... I do enjoy it. My house does get regularly cleaned, but occasionally not quite as regularly as I'd like it to be done !!
