This beautiful Camellia bush is in my backyard. It is really, really old. We transported it to our yard about 15 years ago, and it was already old then. It was in my parent's yard, and they needed to move it when they were building a new garage. It had been there ever since I can remember. It seems quite happy where it is.

Michelle ... what a shame. Fortunately we have very clay soil here, and the Camellia loves it !!

Stinkypaw ... thank you. It is a beautiful bush.

Take care, Meow

Angela ... thanks for visiting. All we really did was note which direction it was facing, dug it out with a huge root ball, and transplanted it the same way. Make sure it is facing exactly the same way it was where it came from. Then we watered it in well and crosed our fingers !!! Seemed to work, as it has been happy here for 17 years now !!
Take care, Meow
