Well, It's Wednesday ...

Hello Friends !!

Not much to say today, but I have a few things to share.

Firstly, I received another postcard. This one is from Tink, all the way from The Netherlands. The postcard shows various pictures from Ymuiden, which is a little city on the west coast of The Netherlands. Ships bound for Amsterdam pass through the locks and harbours of this city. Ymuiden started flourishing when the North Sea Canal was ready in 1879, but it also has Roman origins. Thank you, Tink, for the wonderful postcard. It looks like a glorious place to live.

Secondly, I just finished reading a great book, called Sunstroke. It is by Jesse Kellerman, who is the son of Jonathan and Faye Kellerman, another couple of my favourite authors. If you like Jonathan and Faye's work, you will equally like Jesse's. It is a thriller, and a very good one, at that. If you get a chance to read it, I'm sure you'll enjoy it ... I did !!

Thirdly, here is the cover of the book I shared a quote from last week ... just in case you are looking to get a copy. Steve Barclay, the author, has a web site which is worth a look at ... www.motivationalcartoons.com.

Fourthly (is that a word ?), here is another quote from the same book.

Well, that's about it from me. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week.

Take care,

MEOW

family there.
Thank you so much for the birthday

I haven't read any books by either of those authors nor the parents of the one but will keep an eye out for them when at used book stores. I agree with Peter, go ahead and start that postcard blog.

Granny ... I have read alot of both their books, so when I saw this one, I figured it had to be good.

Peter ... I know, I know ... I have been slack ... the postcard blog is started (and then stalled), and I do need to add new photos to the photo site ... soon, I promise !!

Merle ... thank you, and you are most welcome. I hope you have been having a wonderful day. I'll keep in mind Peter's on Sunday, thanks.

Barbara ... I should lay them all out and take a snap of all of them at once ... there are quite a few now.

Take care, friends, and have a great day. Meow

Jonathan and Faye Kellerman are two of my favorite authors, too. May I assume that Jesse’s book is a mystery/thriller, too?

Reverberate ... thank you. I will try and post a few more of the cartoon quotes of the next week or so. I am trying to put all the postcards on their own blog ... this takes time !! I will put them in an album, photocopying the side with the writing and the stamp, so that is visible also !!

Bossy Britches ... thank you, happy hump day to you, too.

Nick ... yes, Jesse's book is most definately a thriller. Quite good, too.

Angel ... thank you, yes I am.

DaybyDay ... thank you, it is wonderful, so many cards ... so much fun !!

Greeneyes ... (((((hugs))))) to you too !!

Momyblogr ... thank you.
