More Postcards ...
Hello, my friends !!
Blogger is being evil today, and I have been trying for ages to post this, but it keeps telling me "There Are Errors" ... what does this mean, and why can't I figure out what the errors are. Is it me or Blogger ??? Hopefully I will be posting this in the next few hours ....
I received another 2 postcards yesterday, so here I am sharing them with you again !!
The first one is from Viamarie, from the Philippines. It is of the Mayon Volcano in Legaspi. It looks quite spectacular, with it's almost perfectly shaped cone. Apparently it is continuously blowing smoke ... must be pretty scary, I imagine, living nearby !!
I had a quiet type day, yesterday, with not a lot on. I did some washing, and some stuff on the computer. Chicky had a dance class last night, and I sat in the car for an hour and a half, watching a movie on her portable DVD player. I could've gone home, but with the traffic at that time of night, it would've taken me 1/2 hour to get home, then I would've only had 1/2 at home, before needing to go back ... a waste of time, as far as I'm concerned. I usually take a book, or a movie, or occasionally my laptop, and sit and relax for the hour and a half. I don't mind ... it's a bit of time-out !!
I'd better close now, as I really need to do some dusting and vaccuuming (yuck !!) ... it seems dust doesn't go away on it's own, and it mutiplies !!!

Please let us know what the total number of post cards you end up with is and how many different places are represented. I suppose Chicky is too old for Show & Tell but it might be something that her classmates would be interested in. You will have post cards that you could never buy in one place!
Dick ... OK, I will let you know ... it will probably be a few more weeks before I have a full count. I'm still deciding how I can display them, so that I can also see the writing and stamps. Some of the cards are too big for a regular photo album, but I'll look into it. I will probably use the scanned pictures of the fronts to make a collage, or something.
Maybe Chicky will enjoy showing them off at school ... I'm sure she would !!

yes, i've been having trouble getting stuff posted up at my blog to, as well as leaving comments...also, does anyone have that wheelchair symbol next to the "word verication" box?
p.s. went out an got some postcards today...i want to put them in an envelope so they don't get spoilt...and it it CHEAPER to mail as well, how weird is THAT?
