Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old.

This is very true indeed. I once came up with a saying...."Love of beauty and of all lovely and wonderful things is indispensable for our growth. It brings reverence and a sense of transcendance into personal love and indeed into all life.

Heidi ... thank you. I loved the quote, and thought the painting went well with it. I hope you had a wonderful birthday.

Maddy ... yes, it is beautiful.

Dick ... no, it isn't my artwork. Wish it was !!

Momyblogr ... thank you.

Peter ... thank you. I have done ceramic painting in the past.

Ebun ... thank you.

Susie ... good pick up !! It is the same artist ... his name is Lamis Dachwali ... I think his work is fascinating, he has some gorgeous paintings, many abstract type ones.

Connie ... thank you, but it is not my work. My paintings are much more simplistic and amateurish. But, thank you all the same.

Fridays Child ... that is also a beautiful saying, well done and very true, indeed.

Thank you, friends. Hope you are all having a great day.
Take care, Meow

Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes: "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye"--from The Little Prince.

What an interesting and very beautiful painting.

Beauty can be found every day all around us. It can be found in people and in places and in things.

I can't believe Kafta said that. I had to read his stuff at uni and it nearly made me sick.
That quote has restored my faith in him.

Tab ... that is such a lovely thing to say ... thank you so much. And you are most welcome ... I know it's only words, but I try to help and stay positive. You are a wonderful person, you'll get through.

Madi ... that's interesting. I've never actually read any of his stuff (not that I can recall, anyway), but this quote was nice.

Take care, Meow

The world is a beautiful place. There are certain things that we do, as humans, that threaten that beauty constantly, yet still the beauty manages to remain, there to be seen.

You just have to look.
And look properly.

I'm grateful that I am able to do that. Some people can't, or if they can don't understand or appreciate it.

We should all appreciate this world, this breathtaking vision of life and creation with the simplicity and stark truth of a child.

Then I'm sure we'd all be a lot happier.

Alice ... I totally agree. You are a very insightful person. Thank you.
