Pussycats & Postcards

Who controls the remote in your household ????

I have received another couple of postcrds, which I would like to share with you.

The first one is from Loni, from Michigan ... which seems to be a really amazing place, judging by the wonderful people I have met in Blogland who live there ... and it shows pictures of an Elk, a Whitetail and a Blackbear. Personally, I think I would be really scared living in an area where the Bears run around free. I guess, though, that they are only in really wild foresty areas, away from people, not in surburbia !! They are probably (hopefully) just as scared of humans, as we are of them.

The second one is from Nerdine, from Oslo, Norway, and shows a part of The Oseberg Ship, which is located in the Viking Ships Museum. It must be a really fascinating place. The Vikings have always been of great interest to me, so she picked the perfect card.

Thank you ladies, for your wonderful cards ... they are just gorgeous. I am still enjoying the Postcard Exchange, and the cards that keep arriving. It is lots of fun. I still need to get back onto posting all these amazing cards onto a special blog, just for the postcards. I have started it, but then got sidetracked !!!

I found this gorgeous photo ... I just had to share it !!

It is Wednesday midday-ish in my world, and I am about to head over to a friend's for a visit, before picking up Chicky from school. This friend of mine, I'll call her "J" (you know who you are !!), has been a great friend, for around 13 years. She is married to a work-mate of my husbands, and we just clicked when we first met. She is an amazing woman. She is the mother of 3, one 10 (or is it 11, sorry "J") year old boy, and 2 almost 8 year old girls. The girls were born very premature, and both have quite significant disabilities. But "J" lets nothing faze here, she is the most organised, caring, loving woman I have ever met. She is on numerous committees, is always volunteering her time to help others, and is always there for anyone. I think you are a star, "J' ... just wanted to tell you that. Everyone loves her, and she deserves nothing but the best. There should be more people like her in this world. We love ya, "J".

I had better get going now. I hope everyone has a wonderful week.

Take care,

MEOW

Like your postcard of Michigan.
In my household my grandson has control of the remote and the TV.
That cat seems to be bored looking out of the window.

Bossy Britches ... thank you. See, what did I say about all the wonderful people from Michigan ... you're one of them !!
With me living in the future, I should know what you are going to do today, shouldn't I !?!?!

Greeneyes ... hey, right back at ya !! Glad you're back, my friend.

Megz Mum ... thanks, we had a wonderful time catching up.

Connie ... thanks, it was great seeing her, as with her busy schedule, and my various running arounds, it is often quite difficult to co-ordinate our schedules to catch up !!

Fridays Child ... thanks. My husband likes to think he has control of the remote ... but I only let him think that ... really, it's mine !!!

Take care, friends. Have a great day .... Meow

Adore the one with the cat and the remote. My cats will stand on the remote (I believe deliberately) sometimes to change the channel.

The bear and deer postcard is great, as is the one with the bit of boat.

Reminds me of the Narnia story, the Dawn Treador. I may have spelt the title wrong but it's my favourite Narnia tale.

Maybe they'll do a remake of that one next. :-)

By the way, in answer to your question, love mail is great, but you can't make fun of it. I;m grateful for all the nice comments I get, but nasty comments make good Blog fodder and I'm greedy - I want both.

And I got some! Yay!

Thanks for the love mail though. Hope you and my other Blogging friends kee; it coming.

:-)

Michelle ... Thank you , she's a wonderful person.

Alice ... isn't it funny the things cat do, that really do seem deliberate !! I believe that cats hate it when we read newspapers, instead of patting them, so climb onto the paper just so we cannot see it ! I don't know about hate mail ... I prefer the love mail !!!

Take care, Meow

Lovin' the cards.....Mine is IN THE MAIL!

I think all the cats should control the remote. Hm, I guess I better get a cat then, lol!

Nicole ... cats can be very distracting, but oh-so-cuddly. I love when they sit nose to nose ... too cute, little smoochers.

Loraloo ... Thursday morning is looking ok so far ... hey, maybe I can become a fortune teller ... I know what today is like, you are still in yesterday !!

Dragonflyfilly ... it's really cute, of course you can copy it.
There are heaps more in www.amazingcatcollection.com, which is where I found these two.

Momyblogr ... I agree, cats would pick the cutest programs ... all about birds, mice, and stuff like that !!

Tab ... thank you. I like to be a warm and fluffy person, I like to make people smile. That's me !!

Have a wonderful day, everyone. I predict it will be warm and sunny, with just a hint of cloud ...
Take care, Meow
