Hello ....

Hello Friends ...

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was fairly quiet, thank goodness. Had some time to recharge the old batteries !! We did, however, attend a RV and Camping Leisurefest, where all sorts of caravans, campers, RVs, tents and all the relevant accessories were on display. We just wanted to get some ideas. It was fun.

Spent much of Sunday watching the Bathurst 1000 V8 Race ... it was quite sad, and I had tears welling, when they did a dedication to motor racing legend Peter Brock, who was killed in a crash a few weeks back.

Anyway, gotta go now .... just wanted to touch base ... I'm about to come around and visit all your blogs (hopefully I'll get through them all today !!).

I have tried adding pictures to this post, but both Hello(Picasa) and Blogger won't let me post pictures (Hello only posted half the pic ... go figure !!), so this will be a pictureless post ... shame.

I will leave you with a couple of quotes, which I particularly liked, courtesy of my good friend Greeneyes, who sent me a bunch of them ...

Tough times never last, but tough people do.
- Robert H. Schuller -

You may never know what results come from your action.
But if you do nothing, there will be no result.
- Gandhi -

Have a wonderful week.

Take care,

MEOW

Gandhi was so smart! I have to say I have had no problems since my blog move. It was worth the time and frustrations to learn how to do so!

Sounds like you don't prop your feet up for long! LOL But that is the fun in life to live it!

Hope you day and week goes good!

Debbie ... thank you.

Connie ... thank you. Yes, cheated ... perfect word. Naughty blogger !!

Take care, Meow

Camping shows are fun. Sometimes, different camp grounds will attend and have a raffle for a free stay. That's always a big deal.

Glad you rechargged, you've been so busy with traveling and all.

Blogger has been difficult for a few days now, sigh

Thanks for stopping by my place, it's always great to see you! D :}

what kind are RV are you considering MEOW? We've had both a truck camper and a trailer. I have come to love our trailer as I've become old and soft :-)

Have fun shopping!

That Schuller quote is so true. I am a tough cookie, and I'm sure you are too. We may not feel all that tough, but when life gets hard, we dig in our heels and face it head on!!

Leisurefest sounds fun. I am for anything that will help me have the easiest time possible when I'm on vacation. If I were to go camping, I would want all the bells and whistles to make it enjoyable. I'm not a big fan of roughing it. :)

i just wanted to say i showed the photos you posted to M (husband) and he is amazed. This is so exotic for us, all these landscapes are so unknown. Especially the holes!

What is the difference between a caravan and an RV? I thought caravan was what you called RVs?

I'm here, I'm here!

I just haven't completely caught up yet, is all.

Sorry, I will, it's just taking longer than I initially expected.

I've updated One Girl & Her Cats (FINALLY!), but I'm afraid it's a rant about protesting, or rather a lack of it.

Ah well.

Glad you had a good weekend. So did I. I'll back tread here and catch up when I can.

*hugs*

I love the Robert Schuller quote. It's great. I honestly believe that what doesn't break a person makes them stronger. And if a person does get broken, if they pick themselves up, dust themselves off, go back for the gusto, they are absolutely stronger. And finally there everything is possible with God.Not very eloquently said, but it's a belief of mine.
