Broken Hill Holiday ... The Map
The all important map ... this (roughly) shows the route we took for our Broken Hill holiday, which is detailed in the four posts below. Don't know if it is readable, but it gives you a general idea of where we travelled (the pink line). Australia sure is a big country ... we travelled approximately 3,200 kilometres.

Holy! that's some trip! Seems like you spent more time on the raod than anything else, though. Bet you're tired. That kind of adventure is hard work. I am lazy, I prefer hotel rooms and indoor plumbing! lol I have enjoyed your vacation posts! Thanks for sharing! D :}
Felinefrisky ... we did spend a heap of time on the road, but loved it all the same. Whilst I love all the luxury, also, I think I prefer this type of holiday. Maybe I'm weird !!
Susie ... yep, that we did !!
Take care, Meow
Wow, thta sounds exciting!
And that little map (of the huge country, of course) looks cute!
That map shows what a big journey you had. Well done in doing it.
Devil Mood ... it was very exciting. I love doing trips like this one.
Jean-luc ... thank you. It certainly was an accomplishment.

Meow: Even when I lived briefly in Bulgaria, I couldn't get the kilometers bit. But that looks like a fairly challenging, of not difficult trip. Rest up!
Nicole ... thank you so much. I love that part of the country, the remoteness is really quite special. Even when there is nothing to see ... there is always something to look at. Huge hugs to you, dear friend.
Michael ... the distances were quite challenging for those that weren't used to it. We loved it !! There was no real four-wheel driving, but plenty of dirt driving !!

What a LONG, interesting trip.
I really like the photo below of the view from your motel balcony. I am a BIG fan of water and trees.
I LOVE water and trees!! I hope there were no huge crocs in that Murray River though. I'm NOT a fan of crocs!!!
The Underground Bar is mega cool!
For use in my poem, I will use the phrase "Have a good tiime" which you wrote in the comments. I will work on the poem later tonight. It will not be easy to incorporate all the words and phrases that people left in the comments, but I enjoy a good challenge!
Gattina ... thank you for visiting my blog. I will drop over to visit yours shortly ...
Jamie Dawn ... thank you. It wasn't a very LONG trip, although it may appear so with the 5 posts lol. Fortunately, the Murray River has no crocs ... not far enough north. It is a very popular river for camping and water sports, houseboating, etc. Looking forward to reading your poem.
Take care, Meow
