It's Almost The Weekend ... Yipee !

Isn't this the most amazing photo ... the photographer was so lucky to catch the cat's tongue in such a way. Chicky found this photo on the internet, whilst collecting cat pictures. How spiky is this cat's tongue !?!?! No wonder it feels like sand-paper when a cat licks you !!

I hope you have all had a wonderful week. Mine has been pretty full on. It will probably take me a couple of weeks to get used to working (even though it is only for 2 days a week). I am enjoying what I am doing, though, so I think I have done the right thing in getting a job !! It gives me another social outlet, too ... I can chat to other adults (not just kids and school mums ... not that there is anything wrong with that !!). Now I just need to adapt my routine (do I even have one !?!?!) so that everything still gets done that needs to get done (you know, the washing, housework, cooking, shopping ... oh yeah, and, of course, the blogging ... that's the most important one !!).

Grrrr, am I the only one who, when posting a picture in Blogger, it sometimes posts a gazillion (ok, that's slightly exaggerated) copies of the same pic, and heaps of spacing between lines of text already typed ?? What's with that ?? It doesn't do it all the time, but when it does ... Grrrrr !!!!

So, what's on your agenda for the weekend ??? Not too much on mine !! Hope yours is a good one.

Take care,

Hi Meow. I know what you mean by uploading one picture and getting heaps of them...happens to me too, but mainly with animated pics. And the big spaces between paras, although I find that better than no spaces at all. However, I've overcome that by uploading pics as a last thing after I've written the post.

Glad you are liking your job. I know what you mean by getting a routine...mine went out the window when I did that full time stint and it took me a couple of weeks to catch up...including blogging!

Enjoy your weekend and St Patrick's Day.

Hugs

Eeeeeuuuwww! Is that what a cat's tongue looks like??

Well, since you've asked, this weekend I'm going to spend the Saturday at the State Library (special artists books exhibitions and talks), the evening at Telstra Dome watching my beloved Blues (hopefully) winning the NAB Cup, and Sunday evening at a food and wine festival event at the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens. March seems to be very busy, in a very pleasant sort of way.

As a working girl you will be really appreciating your weekend, I suspect!

it is not so bad, except at 4 AM when you are sleeping.

I adore that picture. It's amazing, and yes, I can testify that after a while a cat tongue licking the same spot can really hurt!

Things have been so hectic I've been MIA again, but I'm glad to see you're alright Meow, and have a part time job! Well done! Hope it goes great for you.

Have a great weekend.

That is a neat photo. If the cat had a black nostril, I would suspect it was Alex.

That is a spikey tongue!
No wonder they can lick meat off of bones.
I am glad your job is going well. I really could use some adult conversation. I am not sure I could even speak adult.
That blogger picture thing has happened to me too! You have to click the done real fast so they don't keep printing. I don't know why and it is only on a few pictures.
Happy St.Patrick's Day!
Huggles and Love,
Raggedy

Wow that's a really cool picture and it totally makes sense because it does feel like sandpaper when a cat licks you.

Hope you had a great weekend and all is well with you Meow.

Hi Connie, I had to call Christopher in to check out your photo. He said it looks like velcro on the cats tongue. No wonder they are always so clean.

I am so pleased everything is going well for you. You deserve good things my friend.

I think it's great that you have that part-time job. It's always great to do different things, variety, meet different people. I'm really happy for you.
Wow, at first I didn't realize it was the cat's tongue, it's amazing. Over here we have some kind of biscuits called cat's tongues - do you know them?

Chickie has a great eye for good pictures! Can't say with three cats I have ever really looked that close at their tongues. But I do know how they feel!
