A Pinch And A Punch For The First Of The Month

Hello everyone,

It's the first of July, and we are having some very bizarre weather here in Melbourne. It is very cold (although, by comparison to Northern Hemisphere Winters, not so cold, really!!) and very windy. I awoke this morning to torrential rain, and the extreme wind, battering my windows ... all of them, from all sides ... scary stuff. A couple of hours later, it is still windy, but the sun is shining, and we have blue skies. It has always been said that Melbourne can bring four seasons in one day ... I think we are having one of those days.

My life continues to be busy, still no time for regular blogging. I have been quite unwell recently, although 100% better now, with a terrible cold and chest infection. I haven't been this sick for years and years ... oh well, life goes on ... I haven't really got time to be sick !!

I have a day off today, am heading over to a friend's for a spot of scrapbooking. Looking forward to the scrapbooking, and the catch up with my friend. Always up for a bit of chatting (or gas-bagging, as we sometimes call it).

Hope you are all well.

Will be back in touch soon.

Take care,

Its hot here. Summer is in full force. On the plus side the bay water is the optimal swimming temperature.

I upgraded the look on the boat. I went with a very blue theme. I posted photos on my site. I went all LED. I have replaced the standard bulbs to blue LED, added more blue LED strips in the t-top, and also went with LED navigation lights.

It looks pretty sharp. At least I think so.

Hi, welcome back. Hope you are back on deck and feeling much better in spite of the awful weather. Gina and Helen and I had a wonderful time at Leeanne's High Tea in Kyneton on Saturday. Gina has set up a separate blog. Hopefully, I will add my photos in the next day or two.

Blessings and bliss

I love scrapbooking but I just don't ever get any time. I recently made the move of transfering all my scrapbooking stuff from a giant plastic box in my room to a set of wire pull out baskets at my boyfriends place. This is so that if I get sick of watching football I can scrapbook. It's also so much easier to access then having to pull everything out of a box and put it back every time. I'm craving scarpbooking now... Enjoy your scrapbooking!

Hi, Connie. It's high Summer here, hot and humid. Typical Arkansas Summer weather.

Sorry you've been sick, but glad you're feeling better now.

Hope all is well in your world! :o)

Love and hugs,

Diane

Glad to hear you're feeling much better, Connie. A friend of ours who lives in Ballarat, well, for the next three days until he moves to Qld, said that it was three degrees yesterday! I cringed just thinking of that. It's about 22/23here. Quite nice, but there's a chill to the breeze.

Take care of yourself.
