Since I Last Posted ...

Hello !!

It's been almost a week since my last post ... OMG, where has the time gone !! So, what have I been up to, you ask ... weeeeeellllll ...

Ever since I had my cleaning frenzy the other week, and have relocated the fish tank ... this is what the cat spends a lot of time doing ...

Sometimes she sits and watches, other times she bats at the glass, scaring the bejesus out of the poor wittle fishy !! Cats !!

On Friday night I went to a party plan thing at a friend's place. It was a Body Shop party. There was some lovely stuff there ... of course I had to buy something !!

On Saturday, Chicky and I went to the netball, to watch another of her club's teams play in the grand final ... they won, yay !!

Saturday night we went to a Netball Presentation Night. It was fun, there was a disco for the kids (and the adults, if they so desired !!), and all the kids got trophy.

Hmmm, what did we do Sunday ?? Can't remember, oh well !!

Monday was a work day, then Chicky and Hubby attended a dad and child evening at school ... they did a cooking activity, and bought home a yummy Pineapple Upside Down Cake that they cooked together (and apparently made a heap of mess in the process !!).

Tuesday I had a lovely visit with Gina, at her place. She has an amazing house, with the most wonderful treasures throughout. She showed me all her linen, tablecloths, stitchings, shared some photos, her swapcard collection, and all sorts of fun stuff. She made us a yummy pizza for lunch, and we chatted the whole afternoon through. Thank you Gina, it was a great day ... hope we can do it again sometime soon.

Wednesday I worked again ... long day.

And, today ... Thursday ... I did my groceries, and then popped over to my parent's house, to drop over some milk, flowers, a cake, turn on the heater, tidy up a bit ... they are coming home from a 7 week trip to Germany, tonight. I can't wait to see them. It feels like they've been gone forever. We are off to the airport in a couple hours, to have a quick dinner, then wait for them to arrive ... whoo-hoo.

I will tell you all about it next post.

Gotta go, hope you are all well ... till next time.

Take care,

How nice that your parents have you to make their homecoming more welcoming. They will especially appreciate a warm house.

Hahaha...I laughed at Bambi looking ever so hopefully at the fish...bad kitty...lol!

You and your parents are going to have a lot of catching up to do...what fun! They will be just as happy to return home to a welcoming house. You're a lovely daughter, Connie.

I've been playing my CD lots and lots...mainly in the car. It sits in the CD player and starts when I turn the key on...just great.

Hey busy girl...Just wanted to say hello. You take good care of yourself between cleaning and errands.

Have a fun and less stressful weekend.
Hugs,
Connie

Hopefully the cat doesn't figure out how to get to the fish!

I love that intense look on Bambi's face! The fish probably doesn't care for it, though. ;D

Hope your parents make it home safely. I know you're happy they're coming home.

Love and hugs,

Diane

Your kitty looks so much like mine, but much slimmer. She really seems to enjoy that fish tank. Have fun with your parents.
Take care Meow

Skipper likes to terrify some fish
I have too.

By the way, I think Skipper is a Korat. Well mostly Korat anyway. He fits the breed profile, and has the right color except for some white patches. I think this is why he was dumped.

Korats are actually an unusual breed.

Can you imagine being those fish and looking at that gigantic 'thing' through a thin sheet of glass?

Hope your parents had a wonderful time in Germany, and don't take too long to acclimatise to a Melbourne winter.

You sure have a busy schedule! You had better not retire as most people I know who are retired are busier than they were while they still worked regularly.

Our cats, if they are not hissing or looking at each other, like to look outside and watch the humming birds at the plants & feeder. We call that window the Cat TV.

nice pic Meow!

We are facing our first real hurricane threat for this year. Hurricane Dean currently heading towards Jamaica. We will be keeping a strict eye on it to see where it will make landfall.

With all that happening, Connie, it is little wonder you have no time for blogging! :) Good to see you. Have a wonderful weekend.

That was quite a busy week. Like you, was busy too. Sorry for not visiting much but don't worry, will make up for it. I just love how that cat watches over the small water tank. He can just make it topple over. Good he doesn't do it.

I hope we can do it again some time too, Meow - it was great fun! Val had an idea that she posted on my blog after reading about Ken and I going to Sugarloaf Reservoir on Sunday. She suggested that we (blog ladies) have a picnic up there one nice day. We could make it a blog-family day and bring hubbies and kids - what do you think?
