I am a mega cat-lover. I have spent time in my past-life writing poetry, so that is something I wish to get back into. I am an obsessive reader, who usually has a few books on the go. I have also become obsessed with Scrapbooking ... another thing I can do with all the photos I take ... and recently, I have also become obsessed with Quilting !! Blogging is a much-loved passion ... it is so much fun !!! Facebook seems to be taking up too much of my time these days, too !!

Hope you had a lovely Christmas Day, Connie - I'm sure you will have done so! Like your Alphabet Ds - daffodils are my favourites too. I wish I could grow the wretched things though - I envy people who have them popping up all over their gardens without any effort at all!

It is hard for me to imagine that you are enjoying summer like weather while we are fighting 16" of snow, which we almost never have any of. Maybe it will have gone down your way by July and we will be enjoying our own summer. Want some snow?

9 Feb 2009 - I hope you and your family & home are safe from those terrible fires burning in your area. We are seeing some of the devastation on our TV news reports and it looks bad.
