Wishing You All A Merry Christmas
Hi Everyone,
As has become the norm for me this year, I have continued to be a neglectful blogger. Not that I don't want to blog, I just cannot sit down here long enough to get around to visiting everyone.
Once again, I send out huge apologies to each and every one of you, and hope to get by and visit you all before Christmas.
Well, what have I been up to ....
- Work ... generally 3 days a week.
- Chicky's dance concert a couple of weeks ago ... it went wonderfully, and we pick up the photos next week. Prior to the concert, there were various rehearsals, which I needed to take her to.
- Scrapbooking ... I went to a full day workshop last weekend ... it was great fun, and I am really hooked ... oh, to have the time to actually spend on it would be nice !!
- Christmas shopping ... need I say more !!
- Preparing for Christmas ... the tree is up (finally ... did it just this Thursday), and the house is decorated ... just need to do some final cleaning.
- Christmas cards ... hmmm, they are printed (I always do my own), but I still need to prepare the envelopes and send them out. Seems I am probably too late for the Overseas ones ... looks like I have some emailing to do instead !!
- Ferrying Chicky around to various things ... sports, dancing, parties, school ... yep, I've become a taxi driver !!
- And generally just doing the normal stuff ... housework, washing, shopping, being a good wife (!?!?!), catching up with people (although that hasn't happened much, either!).
So, that's my life ... no time for the important stuff, like blogging. I do so miss you all, and I do, actually, peek into some of your blogs regularly via Google Reader, although, as I've said before, I don't often get a chance to comment.
Anyway, the purpose of this post is to say hi ... sooo, HI !! ... and to extend my best wishes to each and everyone of you in the hope that you have a ...
and a safe, happy and healthy New Year.
We are off on Christmas Day to our caravan at Bonnie Doon, for a two week break. Perhaps this will be our last holiday there, as the van is on the market to sell, and it may just sell over the Christmas break. Then ..... we will be purchasing our longed-for TVan ... can't wait. Then we will be off as often as we can, to various places in this wonderful country of Australia ... but, that's another story !!
So, as I mentioned, I will try to visit you all before Christmas, but I very much doubt that I will post again until the new year (hopefully more regularly than I have been this year).
Huge hugs to you all, and thank you for being my blog buddies throughout the past 2 years (oh yeah, I missed out completely my 2nd blogaversay in late November ... I'll have to wait till next November to celebrate again ... darn it !!)
May your Christmas be wonderful and warm, and spent with loving friends and family.
Take care & catch you in 2008,

You are very early with your Christmas wishes, lol ! I don't even have put my tree up and here in downtown there is not yet much to see of Christmas. It all really starts next weekend. I don't send any cards since a few years, I send nice emails and those who don't have a computer I call.
Hi Dear Connie, You sound like a very busy lady with not enough hours in the day. im late doing my cards also but hoping to get them all done tomorrow. ready to catch monday's mail.
Have a very merry Xmas connie
and a very relaxing holiday with family and friends ..
If I don't hear from you Happy Holidays!!!
Hi, Connie. I know what you mean about the busyness of life. I've not been blogging as much lately myself but I hope to be able to blog more now.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and a blessed Christmas season. ;o)
Love and hugs,
Diane
Merry Christmas to you and your family, too. We haven't put up a tree since we like the real ones and they dry out too much if put up this early. We do live in tree country, after all and they are farmed in the area to be Christmas trees.
Your trip to Boenie Dune sounds like a fun way to spend the holiday. Of course I have to remember that you have summer now, not the winter that we are "enjoying." I'll look forward to reading about your holiday after the first of the year.
Merry Christmas to you too dear Connie!! I can completely understand how life can take over and give you limited time to do blogging...it's a bit easier for me because I don't have a job and I don't have any kids at home! lol Just post when you can to let us know how you're doing:-) xoxo
You aren't a neglectful blogger. I resent that. You are the one of the best that I have known. It's just that you're busy. It's good you've done your shopping already. I haven't done any yet. I can see RUSH...RUSH...RUSH here.
Merry Christmas too in advance.
Happy holidays and have a lovely time in Bonnie Doon :)
Good to hear from you, Connie. I can see you've been a busy little Vegemite and life gets that way around this time of the year.
So, don't worry about it. I check in every now and again to see if you've posted, so you're not forgotten.
Take good care of yourself.
I'm sure you'll be back to blog before Christmas so I'll wait a little!
The Christmas bustle is upon us all, my dear Meow. No fret, it will all settle down in time for us to enjoy a little Christmas cheer.
I'm just through with doing a health fair at my work place where we served only healthy fruits and juices to our visitors. And, I took the opportunity to get my blood pressure check, sugar (diabetes) check and HIV tests which were all freely done for one only. All tests came back negative and normal. So, I go sailing into 2008 with a clean bill of health.
LOL,
Enid
Have a wonderful Holiday Connie..No stress for me, I'm jewish..lol ;)
Thanks for your Christmas wishes, Connie. GI seem to have so much to do as well.

Apologies not needed. It’s a busy season in many ways.
Advent blessings you ya!
MEOW: I understand. For some odd reason, though I've been an early-bird and have all my cards out. Nice to see such a positive post! Have a nice weekend!
Hi Connie,
Just thought I would stop bye and say Hello. I love all your cute christmas pictures specially the last one you have added I can never seem to find any as cute as yours. I have spent a bit more time on the old comp lately thank goodness I am starting to feel heaps better. We are heading up to Peppin this weekend to get the van ready for the Christmas break!

Gudday Connie,
Yep it's that time of the year when things get a bit hectic, waal maybe a lot hectic.
I too recently went to a friend's concert. She is a dancing teacher and teaches three different classes and at the end of the year she holds a concert and I worked/controlled the volume of the music for the concert.
I'm amazed at how well the littles (the 4 to 6 year olds) manage to stay in step with each other especially at this age.
May you and your family have a happy, safe Christmas and a swell New Year.
Connie... Thanks for stopping by to visit... Merry Christmas to you and your family! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and that you have the best of the new year!! Hugs to you... Cecil
