My favorite is to just throw a couple of frozen 1/3 lb. burgers on the grill for 6 minutes (each side) with a couple ears of corn on the cob with them (sealed in aluminium foil and covered with virgin olive oil and fresh basil leaves) and then ask my wife to chop up some fresh fruit in a bowl and we're done! ~ Nice summer dinner when no one wants to cook! ~ jb///LZ Bloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06020844948637658050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19370354.post-53626177814411865232007-07-25T05:08:00.000+10:002007-07-25T05:08:00.000+10:00That's what happens when you finish a good book......That's what happens when you finish a good book...you don't want it to end.Jean-Luc Picardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01689798190618944262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19370354.post-58282445213233568192007-07-24T23:09:00.000+10:002007-07-24T23:09:00.000+10:00Would you believe baked beans on toast?Would you believe baked beans on toast?Gina E.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07532527261977368083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19370354.post-38641902299956105002007-07-24T20:55:00.000+10:002007-07-24T20:55:00.000+10:00Puss-in-boots ... yummy, quiche ... yep, that's a ...Puss-in-boots ... yummy, quiche ... yep, that's a great standby. We'd always have those ingredients on hand.

But last night we too had a late dinner. Normally we eat at 7.30, but I did my shopping late afternoon, got lamb shanks for dinner, but forgot they take 2.5 hours. So it was 8.30 last night. The last one had left smoked chicken, and all the veges I could find and chop up finely. It was rather nice, too.Puss-in-Bootshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02313418336654760327noreply@blogger.com
